Meet the Speakers
Dr. Becky Spurlock
Dr. Becky Spurlock is the Senior Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at The University of Texas Permian Basin. Prior to joining UT Permian Basin, she served in several leadership roles at public and private universities in both Texas and Tennessee. As a first-generation college student, she believes in the transformational power of higher education.
An educator, sought after speaker and leader in her field, she regularly teaches, speaks, and consults on developing community, leadership, management skills and strategies, strategic planning, and assessment. Dr. Spurlock has more than 25 years of experience working on college campuses. A high-energy speaker, Dr. Spurlock is known for her ability to engage audiences, address difficult topics, and connect through humor.
Dr. Spurlock has a Ph.D in Higher Education Administration from Texas A&M University as well two degrees from Texas State University, a B.S. in Recreational Administration, and an M.Ed in Counseling and Guidance. In 2017, Dr. Spurlock completed the Management and Leadership Education Program Certificate from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
Ginny Van Doren-Truong
Ginny is a marketing professional with over 15 years of experience in the live entertainment industry, working on both the venue and promoter sides. She has promoted over 800 shows and recently founded Backstage Event Marketing, securing contracts with Ector County Coliseum and Odessa Arts. Ginny's expertise includes building contractor networks and developing strategies to elevate live events and boost ticket sales.
Stacy Livingston
Stacy is a dynamic entrepreneur and community builder with expertise spanning marketing, international business, real estate, hospitality, digital media, and the arts. As the founder of multiple businesses, including Midland AF and Livlen Media, and the nonprofit, Midland Art Crawl, Stacy has led initiatives that bring together local businesses, artists, and the West Texas community through strategic collaboration. She is passionate about empowering others to grow their brands by harnessing the power of events and shared audiences. A mother of three under six—Stacy balances career and family while championing innovation in both the digital and local landscapes.

Kelsie Rasure
Born and raised in Midland, Kelsie Rasure loves any and every opportunity to give back to the community that has given so much to her. Kelsie is honored to be the 2024 President for the Permian Basin Board of REALTORS and was awarded the 2023 Ambassador Award for her service and dedication to the real estate community. Kelsie also serves as the President of The Midland Rainbow Room, an emergency resource room used to help the needs of abused and/or neglected children and families in crisis. Additionally, Kelsie is on the steering committee for Young Professionals of Midland, is co-chair of the United Way’s Project Blueprint and is in the 2024 Leadership Midland class

Bridget Sarpong
Bridget is the Morning Weather Anchor for ABC Big 2 News and Fox 24 News. She was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio and is proud to call the Buckeye State home where she graduated with a journalism degree at THE Ohio State University.
When she is not working, you can find Bridget at Barnes & Noble looking for the next book to add to her growing personal library, out at the farmer's market, virtually spending time with her family and friends back in Ohio, staying fit, looking forward to her next nap.
Wandaliz Turner
Wandaliz Turner serves the Director of Development at the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership (JNIWL) and formerly served as the Associate Director for the Center for Women in Government (part of JNIWL). The institute is part of Texas Woman’s University, the first university system primarily for women in the nation. Wandaliz holds a Bachelor’s degree in Government and a Masters of Arts in Political Science & History, both from Texas Woman’s University. She is an Army Veteran and former law enforcement officer. Wandaliz has worked in elections administration at the county level and the non-profit sector in the North Texas area. Wandaliz currently serves as a board member for the Texas Lyceum Board of Directors, is a member of the City of Denton Community Service Advisory Committee, Women United committee with United Way of Denton County and on the Board of Directors with the Denton Parks Foundation.
Wandaliz’s speaker focus areas include: women in government, women in public service, women of color in public service/government, resiliency, sponsoring & mentoring, career transitions, civic engagement, community engagement, leadership development, and higher education/ workforce pipeline development.
Kristen Partridge
Kristen Partridge is dedicated to building connections and inspiring others to see the greatness in themselves. With over 25 years in higher education, she’s a recognized leader in fostering positive organizational cultures and instilling leadership confidence in others.
Kristen previously served as the Associate Vice President for Student Affairs and Associate Dean of Students at the University of Oklahoma. Recently, she brought her passion for people and growth to a new role as Vice President for Organization and Leadership Development at Triumph Team, a strategic coaching and training firm in Norman, Oklahoma.
Known for her dynamic speaking style, Kristen engages thousands each year, motivating them to “scatter joy,” embrace change and take steps toward becoming their best selves. Her favorite moments are when someone experiences that profound “aha!” realization about their own potential.
Kristen holds a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master’s in Human Relations and Organizational Leadership, both from the University of Oklahoma. She lives in Norman with her husband, Casey, and their two young sons, Sam and Will, who keep her inspired and grounded and overrun with laundry.

With a Master’s in Public Health focused on Health Promotion from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Taylor Wiedenfeld is dedicated to improving community well-being. Originally from Nebraska, Taylor’s passion for health education and advocacy has been a driving force throughout her career. Her undergraduate background in Marketing and Communications enhances her ability to effectively engage and inform the community about health initiatives. Committed to making a difference, Taylor believes in empowering individuals to take charge of their health and well-being.
